These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Where Pawprints Stay website and your purchase of any product from us, including The Story Plaque and any future personalized memorial products. By placing an order or using this site, you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully — if you don't agree, please don't use the site or place an order.
1. Who we are
Where Pawprints Stay ("we," "us," "our") sells personalized pet memorial keepsakes, including a printed frame personalized with your pet's photo and a private online tribute page. We are not a veterinary, medical, or grief-counseling service, and nothing on this site is a substitute for professional support.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to place an order on this site.
3. Personalization content you submit
When you place an order, you'll submit content to personalize your product and private memorial page — typically a photo of your pet, their name, and details about their story. By submitting this content, you confirm that:
You own the photo or have permission to use it, and submitting it to us does not infringe anyone else's rights.
The information you provide (names, dates, written content) is accurate to the best of your knowledge.
You grant us a limited license to reproduce, print, and display this content solely to produce your order, host your private memorial page, and provide customer support related to your order. We will not sell your personalization content or use it in marketing without asking you first.
We reserve the right to decline to produce an order if submitted content appears to violate someone else's rights, is unlawful, or is clearly not a genuine pet memorial submission.
4. Orders, pricing, and payment
All prices are listed in US dollars unless otherwise noted and are due in full at checkout. We reserve the right to correct pricing errors, limit order quantities, or decline any order at our discretion, including after an order has been placed, in which case we'll refund you in full.
5. Production and shipping
Every product is made to order once you submit your personalization details — see our Shipping Policy for current production and delivery timelines. Because production begins shortly after ordering, we may not be able to change or cancel an order once production has started; contact us as soon as possible if you need to make a correction.
6. Returns and refunds
Because each product is personalized specifically for your pet, we're not able to accept returns for change of mind. If your order arrives damaged or there's an error on our part, see our Refund Policy for how we'll make it right.
7. Private online memorial pages
Eligible products include a private online tribute page hosted by us or our service providers. We'll make reasonable efforts to keep memorial pages available on an ongoing basis, but we can't guarantee uninterrupted or permanent hosting, and we recommend keeping your own copies of any photos or written content that matter to you. We may remove or restrict access to a memorial page's content if we believe in good faith that it is unlawful, infringes someone else's rights, or violates these Terms. We will never add advertising to a memorial page or sell the personal content on it to third parties.
8. Intellectual property
The Where Pawprints Stay name, logo, site design, and original written content are our property (or used under license) and may not be copied or reused without our permission. This does not apply to the personalization content you submit, which remains yours.
9. Prohibited use
You agree not to use this site to submit content that is illegal, infringes someone else's rights, is fraudulent, or attempts to impersonate another person or pet's identity, and not to attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the site or our systems.
10. Disclaimers
The site and products are provided "as is." Product photos are representative; because each item is handmade to order, minor natural variations in materials such as wood grain are normal and are not considered defects. We do not guarantee that the site will be uninterrupted or error-free.
11. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Where Pawprints Stay will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site or products. Our total liability for any claim relating to an order will not exceed the amount you paid for that order.
12. Governing law
